SCIMOS A contains 99.1% alumina, and is made up of extremely fine
crystal grains enmeshed in a dense microstructure.
It is chemically stable even at extremely high temperatures and is therefore recommended for use in alumino-silicate
glass melting which requires high temperatures. |
